About our company:

The Family Pet Hospital Laser and Wellness Center has been providing top of the line, compassionate veterinary care in our community for 19 years. We specialize in proactive and comprehensive whole pet care to ensure long and healthy lives for the pets we care for and love. We also believe in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with pet owners, providing them with the peace of mind knowing that their pets are in competent and caring hands.

Our recently expanded small animal practice has four veterinarians who perform medical and surgical treatment of patients, including exotics. We also offer both medical and standard boarding for cats and dogs less than forty pounds, daycare for dogs less than forty pounds and grooming for both cats and dogs.

We are looking for a personable, passionate full-time Client Liaison to join our team. Busy, growing, state-of-the-art, AAHA certified veterinary hospital looking for an enthusiastic animal lover to join our team. MUST have superb communication and phone skills with an upbeat, positive attitude. If you are high energy, love working with people and animals, and have a desire to build a career in the veterinary field, you may be the fit for us. Experience is highly preferred. Your duties would include filling our appointment book, ensuring clients arrive as scheduled, warmly welcoming clients, making sure all follow up treatment is scheduled and collecting payments and other administrative duties of the critical front office position. Specific Responsibilities:

  • Appointment Scheduling
  • Grooming/daycare/boarding scheduling
  • Manage incoming calls
  • Making activation calls to remind clients of overdue services on their pets
  • Helping meet clients’ needs and handling small client complaints to clients’ satisfaction.
  • Receive and process payments
  • Successfully act as a liaison between clients and doctors

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must want to be part of a team, and be dedicated to seeking ways to better the practice.
  • Up-beat personality
  • Ability, motivation and willingness to learn new things and multitask.

 

Required Competencies and Experience

  • 1-3 years of working experience 
  • Excellent references

 

Benefits and Compensations:

Full time benefits include continuing education, 7 paid holidays, paid time off, health and dental insurance (after the first 6 months of employment). A raise may be awarded at the discretion of the manager and practice owner after the initial three month training/probationary period.
