Liam has been with Family Pet since 2017 and is primarily a surgery tech. This means that if your pet has had surgery, you probably spoke with Liam the day of. He is in the room with pets assisting the doctor during the procedure and ensuring all is well. Prior to joining our family, he had been in the vet med field for 30 years. He has worked on everything from alligators, tigers, zebras, to armadillos! Before going into vet med, Liam was a corpsman in the Navy and entered the world of human medicine once he left the service. He also has degrees in education and philopsophy. His experience with human medicine (and growing up on a farm) laid the groundwork for his switch to animal medicine where he happily fulfills his duties of loving on animals and keeping them happy and healthy. In his free time, Liam is an apprentice docent at the American Heritage Museum, practices martial arts, plays videos games with his 2 kids, and enjoys times with his pets.
