The practice has just purchased a new ultrasound machine. Dr.Valas has been performing abdominal ultrasound studies in cats and dogs since she graduated in 1993 and purchased her first machine right out of school. She has done extensive training throughout the years and continues to take continuing education classes to improve and add new skills. This year she will be taking cardiac ultrasound which her new machine allows her to do with higher accuracy.
In addition, she has the ability to send her studies to board certified specialists for a second opinion at an additional cost, should that be required for your pet.
What this means, is that this highly advanced and sensitive diagnostic tool is available in house, at a much lesser cost than having to take your pet to a referral facility right from the start.
