Boarding
There are no boarding facilities at The Family Pet Hospital. We limit our boarding of client's pets to cats. We will board a maximum of 4 cats at one time. Every boarder needs to be up to date on all vaccinations, be leukemia/aids tested, and be free of external parasites (fleas/ticks).
All boarders have been allowed to roam free in our treatment area and our back office which helps them get acclimated to us and their environment. During times when we have conflicts we will allow each animal its own free roaming time during the day. We try to limit each boarder's cage time as much as possible and most boarders are in their cages only during the night since they cannot be adequately supervised when the hospital is closed
You must bring your pet's food to avoid diarrhea due to sudden diet change. We welcome toys and blankets but if soiled they will go to the practices laundry so you may not get them back in the same condition that you left them. For this reason it is important that you not bring items that you or your cat would absolutely die if lost, soiled, broken, etc. Use your judgement in what to bring and we will do the best on our part.
